1. Read the rules
Read the official rules for complete details about eligibility, project requirements, your rights (intellectual property), judging, prizes, and more.

2. Obtain a Registration Number
Complete the Online Registration Form today! Or download a PDF of the Registration Form and submit it by fax or mail.

After you register, your Registration Number will be e-mailed to you. Label your entry with your Registration Number. Also, please type your Registration Number in the subject line of any e-mail correspondence about the Contest.

Note: You will NOT automatically receive a free kit by registering for the Contest. If you want to request a kit, you must fill out the Kit Request Form.

3. Create Your Entry
Your entry must include (see the official rules for complete details and submission formats):

Abstract—a short text description of your project (approx. 1 page), a block diagram, a photograph of the complete assembly of your project, a complete schematic(s), and a brief sample of code. Complete documentation—a detailed text description of your project and its operation, a block diagram, a photograph of the complete assembly of your project, a complete schematic(s), plus any other flowcharts, diagrams, photographs, etc. Source code—complete source code (the entire project folder would be best)

4. Enter
The deadline for entry is 1:00 PM EST, January 31, 2008.

There are three options for submitting your entry:

E-mail digital files (preferred). Mail digital files on a CD-ROM or disk. Mail hard copies (four sets hard copies must be included if this method is chosen).

Confirmation
You will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your entry within two business days. E-mails are usually sent sooner, but processing may take up to two days. E-mail confirmations will be sent during business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST). Note: If you send your entry at least a few business days in advance of the deadline, it gives us time to check your entry for corrupt files and completion.
