GPS Display
The GPS Display is a streamlined design used to display GPS information either for testing purposes or navigation. An EVB87 evaluation board receives and displays data transmitted by a Garmin 35 GPS Unit. (The system works with any NMEA-compatible GPS device.) A 4 × 40 LCD module was added to maximize the display area. With the push of a button, users can choose the style that best suits their needs: GPS-formatted data or RAW data (for troubleshooting). Latitude, longitude, UTC time, date, heading, speed, and altitude are displayed in real time.
