Counter
The
Timer Counter enables users to produce consistent quality
parts without sacrificing time and money usually inherent
in quality-management systems. This new 3687-based
system tracks how many times a process has
been started and the total time of the process. A simple push-button
switch is used to reset the time and starts counters.
And, an LCD makes reading the data easy. A reed switch is
used for the input for process monitoring. If the switch is
wrapped with a couple wraps of an output power lead, the switch
will be active whenever current is flowing. The Timer Counter
works well for welding and plasma cutting equipment because
the operator is unable to see the display while the process
is active.
