Motor Monitor/Controller
This
project monitors and controls rotation, temperature, and voltage
for two small DC motors. The feature-rich Tiny 3687 is the
brain of the operation. For versatility, one of the DC motors
is manually controlled by a potentiometer, and the other is
controlled by the microprocessor. A small, simple auxiliary
circuit was designed to control the DC motors and their power
supply. A DAC was added, plus transistors for power control
and resistors for bias. In addition, the 2 × 16 LCD in the
Tiny Starter Kit was replaced by a 2 × 40 LCD to enhance the
display capability.
