H8 Starter Kits

Renesas and Basic Micro have teamed together to provide contest participants with an easy way to jump-start their project entries. These Starter Kits, along with a variety of chip samples and software tools, provide a starting point for contestants needing high-end 16-bit microcontrollers or super low power 8-bit devices. Select one to begin your H8 winning contest design today.

Note: Starter Kits are intended for people who are seriously interested in making contest entries (see rules). The requests are inspected and the samples allocated on that basis. If your interest in the Renesas H8 is other than contest related, make the appropriate selection and fill out the form below. Your request will be forwarded to Renesas and their normal sample-request system.

Update: We are no longer accepting requests for Starter Kits. (If you submitted a Starter Kit request through this web site prior to November 19, 2003, your order is being processed and your kit should arrive shortly.)
