Measuring Large Capacitance the PSoC Way

This PSoC-based project is a well-designed large capacitance meter. The heart of this cost-effective project is a CY8C2443 microcontroller, which uses only one external resistor. Designed especially to measure the capacitance of electolytic capacitors, this project’s degree of accuracy tops traditional bridge circuits. The problems caused by parasitic semiconductance are minimized by the use of a stabilized source of direct current to charge the capacitor.
