Dual Tone Configurable TeletaxMeter

This CY8C27443 microcontroller-based project detects the 12- or 16-kHz Teletax (TTX) signal output on a telephone line as metering pulses by telephone companies. Telephone companies use the TTX signal to determine the distance between a caller and receiver, and thus the charge rate for the phone call. The efficient design requires few external components, which keeps the cost low and makes it a reasonable alternative to commercial options.
