This project describes measurement instrumentation, designed for Voltage and Current measurement in the industrial low power range (approx. up to 3KW equipment). It has been designed to control the operation of stabilized power supply or battery-charger. It has a set of analog and digital inputs, and it is able to measure true-rms value of 1 AC voltage source (obtained generally from a Voltage Transformer), 1 AC current source (obtained from a 50Hz T.A.), 3 DC-current floating photo-coupled sources (1 allowing positive and negative measurement), 3 DC-Voltage common negative sources, 2 temperatures in 0-150° C range. The meter can also monitor 4 digital inputs for alarms and/or status signalling. In "editor mode", the software permits using only 3 keys, to associate a 10-char string name to every inputs, e.g. the Vac input could be "Line Volt.", a Temp. Input could be "Cooling T." etc. A 4-row presentation string is fully programmable too, including the possibility to declare a Vdc input as a battery input, for monitoring charge status.
