Power Frequency Monitor

The dsPIC30F3012-based Power Frequency Monitor (PFM) is used for the high-resolution measurement of AC power frequency. By measuring the frequency of consumer power, the monitor can indicate the relative stability of a region’s power grid in comparison to others. It communicates with a computer via an RS-232 interface.
