Microchip 16-Bit Embedded Control 2007 Design Contest
The Microchip 16-Bit Embedded Control 2007 Design Contest was a great opportunity for the world’s most talented engineers to learn more about Microchip’s 16-bit microcontroller and digital signal controller (DSC) families. The challenge for each entrant was to incorporate any of Microchip’s high-performance, versatile, commercially available 16-bit microcontrollers or 16-bit DSCs in an exciting, novel design.
With a chance to gain international recognition and win a portion of $15,000 in cash prizes, there was no shortage of enthusiasm for participation. Designers from all over the world stepped up to the challenge and delivered well-designed projects for the judges to evaluate. After weeks of closely studying the entries and judging the projects on their technical merit, originality, usefulness, cost-effectiveness, effective use of on-chip resources, and effective use of bonus parts, the judges tabulated their scores and submitted them to the contest administrator. The results are now final, and we’re proud to announce the winners.
Congratulations to everyone who took part in this contest!
