Simplified FSK Signal Detection
Dennis Seguine
Dennis describes an efficient method for detecting FSK signals using a correlator and analog signal processing in a PSoC. The method is readily applicable to caller ID technology. When combined with a UART, it forms the core of a Bell 202 half-duplex modem. p.18

Keywords: FSK, detection, PSoC, frequency, CY8C27443, UART, modem, modulation, correlator

Go Wireless with the XBee

Read it now!

by Fred Eady
APPLIED PCs
It’s time to get rid of the wires between your sensors, slave devices, and the microcontrollers they serve. Fred shows you how to move data wirelessly with MaxStream’s XBee modules. Uncomplicated wireless technology is at your fingertips. It doesn’t get any better than this. p. 48

Keywords: Wireless, XBee, ZigBee, MC9S08GT60, MC13193, PIC18F722, ENC28J60
