In this article, I described
a systematic approach to computer-aided design and rapid
prototyping of digital feedback controllers. As youve
seen, its possible to quickly develop nonlinear
and linear models using Maple and design controllers using
MATLAB.
Simulations are implemented
using Simulink and real-time controllers are implemented
using Realtime Workshop and WinCon. WinCons Internet
capabilities facilitate the remote control and monitoring
capabilities, enabling the user to test designs remotely,
from across the room or across the globe.
