Table 1—The data storage scheme is carefully designed in order to fit as much repeater information as is possible into the Z8F6401’s flash memory along with the program. By using only as many bits as is necessary for each parameter, it’s possible to have a database of more than 6,000 repeaters. (The total number of repeaters in the U.S. is approximately 8,000.)
