Don’t be intimidated by your first glance into the vast sea of Renesas H8 products. After you have an application in mind, surfing the product lines will allow you to focus on the correct MPU based on peripheral requirements.

Evaluation PCBs are available for each series. On-chip emulators and an in-circuit emulator are also available. The flash memory microcontrollers will help you get your application up and running, debug it, and make code changes without ever removing the MPU from its target PCB.
