CALLER
ID
Extracting
the caller ID information is easy when the FSK demodulation
is in place. The information is transmitted between
the first and second ring. The caller ID frames carry
the day and time of a call as well as the caller’s name
and phone number. The day and time are used to automatically
set up a real-time clock as soon a phone call is received.
The
caller’s phone number and name, if available, are associated
with the wav file. This information is displayed when
the TAM-TAM is accessed through a web browser.
