SUPPORT
The
last major additions to the CPU are the breakpoints.
Seven are provided in the Rabbit 4000.
Each
breakpoint can be triggered on a physical address match
for reads, writes, or execution in either System or
User mode. Any bits of the address can be masked off
and excluded from the match. You can even force a breakpoint
to be pending, which makes it act like a single-step
trap.
