The pt-one is an in-system universal programmer for serial flash memory, EEPROM, PICs, AVRs, and JTAG devices. This compact and reliable tool allows a designer to switch design platforms with ease. A 16-pin flying lead cable allows easy and fast connection to any existing target system. Power is derived though the USB connection so no external power supply is required. User I/O voltages are internally programmable or may be supplied by the target system. The pt-one also has a user programmable high voltage pin available. The Windows-based software interface includes access to the special features of supported devices.

The pt-one is also an advanced test controller that can be used in the testing of devices, boards, or systems. Discrete I/O pins can be individually configured as standard inputs and/or outputs. These I/O pins can be used separately or in conjunction with the IEEE Standard 1149.1 complaint JTAG port. Creating a test environment can be done with separately purchased software. Custom applications are also available. The pt-one can also add in-system programming support to any existing test environment easily by using a DLL interface to access algorithms.
