The SMARTSWITCH development kits are cost-effective tools for rapidly prototyping new design ideas for the NKK SMARTSWITCH. The kits are designed to expedite your design process and reduce development costs.

NKK offers three different variations of the development kit. The IS-Dev Kit-1 consists of one SMARTSWITCH programmable LCD module and two PCB-mounted tact switches for you to select and display different graphics. The IS-Dev Kit-2 comes with two SMARTSWITCH programmable LCD push button switches. Both of these kits come on a PC board with flash memory, power and programming connections. The IS-Dev Kit-3 is a panel display unit that includes two SMARTSWITCH LCD push buttons and one SMARTSWITCH LCD.

Using the Design Online tools at www.nkksmartswitch.com, you can easily program text, draw graphics, and experiment with your design concepts. These programs can be downloaded to the development kit. 

In addition, the development kits offer flexibility because the PCB units have sockets for the LCD push buttons and displays that allow them to be interchanged for optimal design testing. A variety of LED backlighting colors, intensities, and LCD are available.

The IS-Dev Kit-1 and IS-Dev Kit-2 both cost $169. The IS-Dev Kit-3 costs $425.
