INTERFACE YOUR 12C DEVICE TO ETHERNET

The FMod-TCP TCP/IP server board enables manufacturers and system integrators to connect to many types of I2C devices to an Ethernet network. You can link home appliances, industrial sensors, and control systems directly to an Ethernet network. The TCP/IP stack is embedded on the card, allowing it to be accessed from a standard web browser or dedicated application.

I2C is a two-wire serial data bus widely used between components and ICs in equipment such as cell phones, A/V equipment, and power supplies. Temperature sensors, ADCs, LCD drivers, A/V switches, and memory ICs all are available with I2C interfaces. A maximum of 127 devices can be connected to an I2C network with FMod-TCP as the master. I2C speeds of up to 1 MHz can be accommodated.

FMod-TCP also has 19 useful digital I/O lines, five 10-bit A/D inputs, and a UART serial interface. WindowsOS PC interface software is also included.

The FMod-TCP starter kit includes the FMod-TCP board, two UART-to-RS-232 adapters, cables, a power supply, a user manual, and a CD with dedicated software and the default Java applet source code.

The FMod-TCP costs $232. The starter kit costs $299.
