UNIVERSAL IC PROGRAMMER

The Superpro 3000U is a USB-interfaced (PC-hosted mode), ultrahigh-speed universal device programmer. It is also designed for use in Stand-alone mode, via the built-in keypad/LCD with memory storage media, as well as in Terminal mode, which is utilized via an external instrument such as an IC handler, terminal, or controller.

The Superpro 3000U is compact; it weighs less than 2 lbs. The standard 48-pin driver supports devices down to 1.5 V, and a 100 pin-driver expander, PEP3000, allows for the programming of devices with up to 100 pins.

The advanced hardware design of the unit greatly minimizes ground bounce noise that enables the programming of low-voltage (down to 1.5 V) devices reliably. In addition, only IC manufacturer-approved programming algorithms are used, and it includes ± 5% and ± 10% VCC verification to enhance programming reliability. The total number of devices supported will soon reach 11,000, and it covers up to 100 various IC manufacturers.

Free device-supporting software updates are available on the Internet. Additional features include pin continuity and wrong-chip insertion check, over-current and over-voltage protection, auto start, history and batch command, as well as the capability of clustering multiple units for gang programming. The Superpro 3000U costs $995.
