DEVELOPMENT KIT
The
new SBC-GX1 VxWorks BSP Development Kit is a board-support
package (BSP) that supports the VxWorks 5.x RTOS on the
SBC-GX1 SBC. This new development kit adds to the wide range
of BSPs available for the popular 300-MHz SBC-GX1 SBC. The
development kit strategy enables customers to quickly create
VxWorks-based applications using a reliable reference platform
and a production-ready product.
The
SBC-GX1 VxWorks BSP development kit includes a complete
BSP to support both VxWorks 5.5 and the multimedia capabilities
of Wind ML 3.0. Using the installation wizard and your standard
Tornado II development tools, you can quickly create a reliable
run-time operating system image to download into the resident
16-MB flash drive.
The
development kit includes the 300-MHz SBC-GX1 SBC fitted
with 32-MB SDRAM and 16 MB of flash memory, PSU, serial
and Ethernet cable set, Quickstart Manual, and the VxWorks
BSP Installation/Development Kit CD. The development kit
is also available with an optional 6.5" color VGA TFT
flat panel and analog-resistive touchscreen.
The
SBC-GX1 EBX format (5.75" ×
8") SBC is targeted at fanless systems. The board offers
graphics accelerated CRT and TFT flat panel support, 10/100baseTx
Ethernet, four serial ports, and expansion via a PCI slot,
CompactFlash socket, and industry-standard PC/104 bus. The
SBC-GX1 VxWorks BSP Development Kit costs $997.
