Universal Controller Board

The TEC100 is a universal controller board in the Euroboard format (100 × 160 mm) for industrial and automotive applications. The convenient programmability, its fast running code, and a robust, highly stable multitasking system lead to short development cycles.

Program development is done on a PC in an easy-to-understand BASIC dialect. An integrated development environment that includes an editor, compiler, downloader, and source-level debugger is available. You can easily update the TEC100 in the field permanently store data, tables, and parameter settings. In addition, large amounts of data may be stored in external flash memory cards with up to 128 MB of capacity.

The TEC100 is fully modular, allowing expansion through function modules, expansion boards, and software modules. On-board peripherals include up to 20 analog inputs, eight optoisolated inputs, eight open-collector outputs, an 8 × 8 matrix keyboard input, and an MFII keyboard input. The board also features a SmartMedia flash memory card interface, an interface, a touch-panel interface, two RS-232/485 ports, an RTC, and battery backup. With the VG64 bus interface, I/O boards with up to 128 channels per board may be added to build systems with as many as 4096 I/O channels.
