7Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak used
the 6502 CPU, which was premiered by MOS Technology at
Wescon in the fall of 1975. The chip was also licensed
to Rockwell and Synertek. The original NMOS version isn't
made any more, but Western Design Center (founded by Bill
Mensch, one of the original designers) currently makes
a CMOS version along with several enhanced versions.
