Answer 7—Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak used the 6502 CPU, which was premiered by MOS Technology at Wescon in the fall of 1975. The chip was also licensed to Rockwell and Synertek. The original NMOS version isn't made any more, but Western Design Center (founded by Bill Mensch, one of the original designers) currently makes a CMOS version along with several enhanced versions.
