False. Two or more conductors are required
for guiding EM energy in TEM form through a transmission
line (such as a coaxial cable). This allows the direct
measurement of the voltage between the conductors or the
current in a conductor. However, non-TEM transmission
lines (for example, waveguides) have only one conductor.
Direct measurement of voltage or current is not possible.
