Conductor
spacing: Flashover between the two conductors will
occur if the voltage rises high enough, especially
as a result of high VSWR. |

Conductor
gauge: Resistive losses in the conductors will cause
the cable temperature to rise at high current levels. |

Again,
this is exacerbated by high VSWR. Dielectric losses:
Some dielectric materials dissipate more energy in
high-RF fields than others, and this can become the
limiting factor, especially at higher frequencies. |
