Low-Power Optical Smoke Detector
The 68HC908QT4 is the core
processor of the Low-Power Optical Smoke Detector. Using an
infrared LED and receivers, the unit detects the presence
of smoke particles in the air, thus triggering a signal to
any commercial fire-monitoring panel so that an alarm can
sound or other recovery actions can be taken.
