MoneyPenny

The MoneyPenny is an electronic purse application with RFID for a contactless card with an operating distance of up to 10 cm. The LM3S811-based terminal features an LCD that shows the date and time and prompts the user to enter the desired payment amount on the keypad. After transactions are complete, the log file stored on the device’s flash memory can be sent to a host system through an RS-232 interface.
