High-Resolution Scanner Board

The High-Resolution Scanner Board is the central component of a system used to detect counterfeit money. The ATmega8515 microcontroller-based board captures images at resolutions greater than 3,600 dpi with 8-bit grayscale depth. The board is used to capture an image of part of a currency bill, filter the image, and transfer the data to a PC, which then analyzes it.
