Art
Figures, tables, photographs, and listings are useful tools to demonstrate topics. Please include three to six pieces of art. Submit each piece of art in a separate file. These definitions will help you distinguish artwork:

• figure: schematic, flow chart, block diagram, or other drawing
• photo: photo or screen shot
• listing: code or code section longer than three lines
• table: any information in table format

Formatting Art
Drawn figures will be recreated. You may submit figures in the following formats:

• schematics: Eagle format or exported as TIFF, EPS, or BMP
• line art: EPS, TIFF, GIF, BMP, or PCX

Photos need to be submitted as JPG, GIF, TIF, or BMP files in high resolution (at least 300 dpi). High-quality, clear prints may be submitted and scanned. If it’s more convenient, the Circuit Cellar staff can take hardware photos for you.

Listings should be brief (less than a page). Because the source or operational/object code will be posted on our FTP site, include only the portions of code that are relevant to your article.

Please make sure you include a textual reference for all figures (e.g., Figure 1), photos (e.g., Photo 1), tables, (e.g., Table 1), and listings (e.g., Listing 1).
