Drop-Dead Simple Video Generation with the Cypress PSoC

This CY8C27443 microcontroller-based output display system generates monochrome NTSC video. The minimal support components required, including a few resistors and diodes, are inexpensive and readily available. A 16 × 64 pixel addressable video display can print alphanumeric values, plot graphs, and show real-time waveforms. Additionally, the NTSC signal can be fed to a TV or VCR.
