VSoC: Video Subsystem-on-a-(PSoC) Chip

The CY8C27443 microcontroller-based VSoC enables programs running on a PSoC to display text and graphics at 80 × 112 pixel resolution (black and white) on a TV. The clever yet simple VSoC subsystem runs independently of the user application; therefore, it’s a suitable alternative to LCDs and LED displays for general-purpose use in small control systems.
